Firelands Winery & Restaurant

Firelands Winery is one of Ohio's oldest wineries, located in the lakeside town of Sandusky. The original cellar, which is still used today, was built in 1880 by the Mantey family. The winery produces and bottles wine for the Firelands 1880 Estate Reserve, Firelands, Mon Ami, Lonz, and Mantey brands. The attached tasting room and restaurant are popular tourist destinations showcasing our unique Ohio wines. The estate vineyard Vitis vinifera varietals are lovingly crafted in an austere and old-world style, while the distinctive Vitis labrusca grapes are vinified and blended to create a taste of sweet, juicy, Americana.
